Anyone have a smog hookup? I need to get this thing smogged and need one on the low.

The place I used to take my '69 bug told me last spring they wouldn't be able to do their trick anymore after June (2008), because of some update the state made to the computer systems. I'm sure someone will come up with another suggestion.

I am gonna have the same challenge. I have a few options but I'd like to ask everyone a few questions.

OK guys that run big block / Mopar (think 69' Charger etc) how da fuk they get their 440 c.i. mosters thru a smog test? Lean em up to hell n back? My buddy in Arizona says he has the same issues & he tinkers em & leans em til they pass...says it's doable, so what's the problem goin that route w a higher performance Bug? Or am I missin something?

If all else fails try a gal of denatured alcohol, gas tank ¾ to full. It will burn clean but hot. Grain liquor works too, but costs more. Refuel up to dilute after test. My buddy had a cab company in NJ passed all the time except once, they said it’s running to clean so something most be wrong!!!!
