Well we need people to help out with the project but as of now everyone is busy with their things or scared of the SUMMER HEAT!

We just need to get involved and pick a date when everyone can make it just for a few hours. Not everyone can show up same time.
Who ever is free and want to do something on the raffle bug just page Derek and he will meet you same time for you to work on the bug.

Remember it doesn't have to be 8 hours one day. 1 hour is all it takes once a while and that will get the progress going. I like working on
it late night when its cooler rather than getting up early morning and bang your head on the bug to wake up.

Everyone is different so let's team up and work something out.

Status so far it's sanded out but few little tight areas needs to be sand out then prime the car for the last time.

The last response I saw on the Raffle Bug was in Jun... so where's the progress on it and when it is being raffled? Plus what is the cost per ticket? (This is Briar using Patch's compy). I know that th ebug is more of my husbands thing and eventually I'd like to get a Ghia after looking at a few pictures on here. It's a really sporty looking little car that I think I'd like to work on. Are they much harder than a bug?

More costly and hard to find parts for. Get a pre-'67 bug, or ghia for that matter. You don't have to smog pre'67.

We don't have to smog our cars because with us being military our cars a registered out of Florida.

Sitting at the computer with my fingers crossed and credit card in hand...waiting... to hear if tickets can be purchased online and if the winner has to be present at the drawing. Don't know what the car looks like, but I sure would like to win it and see it on the east coast.

You're going to have to wait until Oct of 2010 before its raffled off. Once it gets closer we will layout all the rules on the website as well as samba Im sure.
